Inspired by the original Marvel Comic Squirrel Girl Goes to College by Karen Zacarias. I used all the colors, fonts, and logo specifications and made the illustration for this campaign. For the campaign, it was necessary to make the Kiosk poster, tabloid-size poster (11 x 17 in), flyers, social media, digital designs for mass email, and the program booklet for the day of the event.

The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui

Adapted for the college and performed by the AWC theatre students themselves. It is a gangster story with a mix of historical facts well-known to society. For this poster, I used simple figures and a color palette that referenced the theme without falling into the obvious or traditional for this play.

The Nutcracker
Winter Concert Illustration
One of the good things about my job is working on projects and events I want to see. That was the case for the winter concert when I saw the program and noticed at least three Nutcracker songs.
It didn’t take long for me to grab my tablet and start making an original illustration for the event, not only for the music department on posters, programs, and social media but also for the CDLL children’s program at Arizona Western College, where I made some minor corrections using toys instead of musical instruments.

Sexual Awareness Color Walk|Run
One of my favorite college jobs is working for the Color Walk | Run. For Sexual Awareness, it was necessary to create an icon for the shirt, flyers, posters, and social media. Thank you to Diana Corona and the Student Health and Wellness Department for making these events happen.

AWC Police Badge Design
I remember when I was assigned the job of redesigning the AWC Campus Police badge. I felt a lot of responsibility but emotion with this project, because it took me completely out of my comfort zone. I thank all the people involved in the process, especially the official Steve Suho for allowing me to make a design worthy of showing today.

Lute’s Summer Jazz Series
I made this illustration for Lutes’ Casino and KAWC (Steven Henning). I really enjoyed making this colorful poster with my I-Pad and Procreate program. Visit Lutes Casino if you like Jazz or just want to relax and eat. Located in Downtown Yuma Arizona. Don’t missed lutes’ SummerJazz Series 2024.
